Ferrari – A Brief History of an Automotive Icon They also designed a lexan hood to reveal the twin-turbo V8 engine. The F40 shape was developed by Pininfarina to reduce frontal area, drag and lift. This body/chassis unit was fabricated by Scaglietti and finished at Ferrari’s own factory. It used a Kevlar for the body which was integrated into a steel chassis. Incorporating advanced composite materials, the F40 was very light. Power came from a large V8 engine that produced 478 bhp and 426 lb-ft torque. The F40 followed in its path and shared its longitudinal, mid-mounted, twin turbocharged V8 configuration. Following the turbocharged successes in Formula One, the 288 GTO was Ferrari’s first road-going turbocharged model in 1984.
It was also the last car developed and built under Enzo Ferrari’s direct supervision before he died. Furthermore, it was built with only the most essential systems and in many regards is a supercar with functional simplicity.

LAst but not least we’ve got the Porsche 911 GT3. Go ahead and check out the GP3 2018 mod here. It’s simply amazing to race with, very fast and quite simple to drive. This car has left a special footprint in my heart since I was driving it both in 20 in the official GP3 World Championship. It’s the same car Lewis Hamilton used to drive in that year alongside Button, so 10 years later it’s also pretty historic.

Most of the mods, if not all, can be downloaded for free from the Race Department website. Do I have to pay for these rF2 road car mods? Some mods might not even been updated and so could create some issues while using them, though others are very well done and provide you with an amazing driving experience. Unfortunately road car mods are not very well done and so you’ll have to filter them based on ratings to have an extra layer of screening.
